DITO services now available in more areas in Rizal, Oriental Mindoro

Third telco player DITO Telecommunity continues to expand its coverage areas, adding more locations in Rizal and Oriental Mindoro.

Services of the China-backed telco are now available in Rodriguez (Montalban), Rizal as well as in Naujan and Pinamalayan in Oriental Mindoro.

This brings the telco to more than 500 municipalities and cities in the Philippines, particularly in Albay, Bataan, Batangas, Bulacan, Cagayan, Camarines Norte, Camarines Sur, Cavite, Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, Isabela, La Union, Laguna, Metro Manila, Nueva Ecija, Nueva Vizcaya, Oriental Mindoro, Pampanga, Pangasinan, Quezon, Quirino, Rizal, Sorsogon, Tarlac, and Zambales.

In December last year, DITO announced that it surpassed five million subscribers since launching commercially in March.
