Globe’s 5G roaming service is now present in Greece, Slovakia, Ireland, Germany, and the United Kingdom as it expands its global footprint to allow customers to enjoy new travel experiences amid easing COVID-19 restrictions.
The Ayala-led telco has established 5G roaming partnerships in Greece with Cosmote, in Slovakia through O2, and in Ireland through Vodafone. Globe customers can also avail of high-speed roaming services in the United Kingdom through Vodafone.
This makes Globe as the only Philippine telco with the widest coverage in the continent.
Currently, Globe’s list of European partner countries include Bulgaria through Vivacom, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Norway, Sweden through Telia Company, Italy through Telecom Italia, Czech Republic through O2, Switzerland through Swisscom, Greece via Cosmote and Germany through Vodafone.
Globe offers roaming services with 5G speeds through its Roam Surf 399 with all-day data for postpaid subscribers and 1GB for prepaid. Customers may opt to add P200 to avail the new Roam Surf Plus with all-day calls and texts for postpaid and 60 minutes of calls and 60 texts for prepaid.
