Globe’s maintains improved mobile data consistency for three quarters in 2021

Ayala-led Globe Telecom continues its positive streak as it maintained its mobile consistency score for three straight quarters for 2021 driven by its goal to provide first-world connectivity in the Philippines.

According to Ookla’s Speedtest Intelligence data in the country, Globe garnered a nationwide consistency score of 76.64 in the third quarter, compared to 75.98 in the second quarter, and 70.43 in the first quarter.

The higher the mobile consistency score, the more likely for consumers to enjoy internet performance and quality.

Globe president and CEO Ernest Cu said that the firm will further boost its network improvements and the use of higher technologies like 5G.

“More than this, we are spearheading several initiatives to uplift the lives of our fellow Filipinos through digital technologies,” he added.

For 2021, Globe increased its capital expenditures to P76 billion to support its network expansion goals, with a large percentage of the said budget allocated to extending its 5G network nationwide.
