Converge’s North Luzon fiber network now more “stable” against interruptions

Fiber internet provider Converge has made its North Luzon network more “available” and “stable” following the completion of its fiber-optic loop.

Converge CEO Dennis Uy said that their fiber network in the region is “now completely redundant,” which means that in case of interruptions, it won’t affect the firm’s services enjoyed by subscribers in the area.

“We are happy to announce that our fiber network in the region is now completely redundant. This means if there should be a fiber break in the area, services will continue,” Uy noted.

The executive said that Converge will also soon complete the “total fiberization” of Pangasinan and La Union this month.

Uy also added that they are “deepening” their network in North Luzon to “connect the unserved and underserved areas” in the country, extending its services in 14 new cities and municipalities in Nueva Vizcaya, Isabela, Cagayan, Ilocos Sur, Ilocos Norte, and Quirino.

“With this development, coupled with our ‘Go National’ strategy in reaching Visayas and Mindanao, Converge is truly fiber-powering the country,” the Pampanga native businessman added.
