Worth the buy: Five affordable 5G Android smartphones available in the Philippines

The next big thing in wireless technology is upon us and telecommunications companies in the Philippines have been boosting their efforts to make 5G accessible to more and more Filipinos. An important factor to be able to experience fast and low-latency connection brought by 5G is to have a smartphone that’s 5G-enabled. Here’s a list of options you can consider if you’re looking to buy one.

Huawei Nova 7 SE 5G
Launched locally last year, the Huawei Nova 7 SE 5G is perhaps one of the most affordable 5G handsets you can get your hands on. Apart from the promised 5G connectivity, this smartphone comes in with an eye-catching design and impressive specs including its quad-rear cameras comprising of a 64-megapixel main sensor, 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera, and 2-megapixels each for depth and macro lenses. It also has a large battery of 4,000mAh that supports 40W fast charging which can equate a half an hour of charge to 70% of battery life.
